Coshandrochaid has been designed to be in keeping with the local environment and  built to the highest sustainability standards.  The distinctive stone walls of the house are all built from stone carefully saved and reused from the previous barns on the site, pairing well with the Scottish Larch clad sections. 

The house benefits from an air source heat pump as well as heat recovery to minimise heat loss and takes water from a private spring through a UV filtration system for water supply. 

Outside, we work with Highlands Rewilding to ensure that the grounds laid to pasture are grazed and managed in a nature positive way, supporting the migratory geese and other wildlife of the area.
